INDEFINITE PRONOUNS (Belgisiz zamirler)

Something / anything = a thing (Bir şey/herhangi bir şey)

Somebody / anybody = a person (Birisi/ herhangi biri)

Someone/anyone = a person ( Birisi/herhangi biri)

Somewhere / anywhere = a place (Bir yer/herhangi bir yer)

Nothing = hiçbir şey

Nobody / no one = hiç kimse

Nowhere = hiç bir yer

• Genellikle something,somebody,someone ve somewhere zamirlerini olumlu cümlelerle kullanırız.

Something is burning. (Bir şey yanıyor.)

I will have something to eat. (Yiyecek birşey alıcam.)

She lives somewhere in the north. (Kuzeyde biryerde yaşıyor.)

• Anything, anybody, anyone ve anywhere zamirlerini ise negatif cümlelerde ve sorularda tercih ederiz.

I didn’t know anyone at the party. (Partideki kimseyi tanımıyordum.)

I couldn’t find my bag anywhere. (Çantamı hiç biryerde bulamadım.)
